Flight Information

International flights can be made into Panama City, Panama or San Jose, Costa Rica.  From either location you have the option of flying directly into Bocas del Toro.  The carrier for these flights is Air Panama from Panama City and need to be reserved weeks in advance as they fill up quickly during the high season.  For these flights you must take a thirty minute cab ride costing $30-35 to Panama-Albrook airport.

Flights are also provided from San Jose, Costa Rica through Nature Air.  You will be met at the airport by our volunteer coordinator when you arrive in Bocas del Toro.

If taking the longer, less expensive route is of interest to you there are buses that leave both San Jose and Panama City to Almirante where you can take a boat to Bocas Town.  Click HERE for bus information from Panama City to Almirante.
