Your volunteer gap experience with Give & Surf can help you learn new skills, be immersed in a different culture, meet new people, practice your Spanish, give back to the local communities, and even earn university credit!
2025 Cohorts
- March 9-May 3, 2025
- August 3-September 27, 2025
- October 12-December 6, 2025
8 weeks; $4,500
Deadline to apply is 90 days in advance of the cohort start date.
Gap Year volunteers may also opt for an individual experience and pick their dates and length of stay.
What's Included
- Accommodations in our ocean-view house in Old Bank (on Isla Bastimentos); 1-2 people per room
- Continental-style breakfasts
- Lunches Mon-Fri
- Local Transportation to/from program sites
- Weekly group trips & excursions
- A surf lesson
- On-site staff support
- Pre-trip planning support
Group or private Spanish lessons, SCUBA certification, and other extras can be added on for an additional fee.
